Once the activity has been controlled and it is safe to do so, the nest can be physically removed from the property. Visible nest removal is usually the best option when the nest is exposed, reachable, and not built inside a wall, ceiling, roofline, or structural void.

Hidden Wasp Nests

Not all wasp nests are visible. Wasps often build nests inside protected areas and use small openings as entry points. These nests may be hidden inside wall voids, soffits, fascia, rooflines, siding gaps, brick gaps, stucco cracks, vents, attics, crawl spaces, ceiling voids, enclosed decks, exterior trim, sheds, garages, or underground burrows.
